The Transformation of TULI: 2024
January
We kicked off 2024 with a fresh wave of everyday elegance. Chiffon dresses brought fluidity to the season, while our stunning plissé mini dresses made workwear chic again. We kept office wardrobes simple yet stylish with versatile blouses, introduced our very first printed kaftan, and added ruched shirt dresses plus comfortable jumpsuits for women who like their fashion equal parts practical and polished.

March
International Women’s Day saw us celebrate not just fashion, but the women who inspire it. We sat down with our founder, Suzanne, and the incredible content creator and entrepreneur, Datche Achieng, for candid conversations on business, creativity, and the power of saying yes to your own vision. It was a moment that reminded us that behind every piece, there’s a story—and a woman—worth celebrating.

May
By mid-year, TULI was all about workwear that worked as hard as you do. We designed official pants that offered a clean, flattering silhouette, alongside maxi jersey dresses available in a multitude of colours. Easy, comfortable, and versatile, these pieces became instant staples for our clients juggling boardrooms, brunches, and beyond.

June
June marked an exciting expansion of our knitwear line, building on the love our clients showed the previous year. We also leaned into sustainability with a new accessories line—earrings and headbands crafted from excess fabric. Not only stylish, but also a reminder that fashion can be both conscious and beautiful.

August
The spirit of experimentation thrived in August with bold debuts. We introduced our first embroidered piece: an asymmetric skirt that quickly turned heads. Our first one-shoulder kaftan also joined the lineup, alongside wrap dresses in vibrant new prints. And for the first time ever, polka dots danced into TULI with a playful wrap dress and kaftan pairing.

September
We closed out the third quarter with a celebration of colour and craft. Oval studs and tassel earrings made their debut, complementing a vibrant line of Ankara kimonos. To top it off, we unveiled our first Chinese-collar maxi dress, a versatile piece that can also be styled as a kimono—an ode to fashion that adapts and inspires.

October
In October, we stepped beyond fashion and into advocacy with our “I Am Whole” campaign. Partnering with the Horn of Africa Institute, we raised awareness about cancer research and the importance of early screening. Proceeds from our specially printed T-shirts went directly to the institute, while our team shared heartfelt videos to remind our community that cancer can affect anyone—and that early detection saves lives.

December
We closed the year in true TULI style—with colour, joy, and celebration. December brought a festive collection filled with tiered midi Ankara dresses, crisp Ankara shirt dresses, and vibrant printed kaftans. Designed for moments of togetherness and joy, these pieces wrapped up the year with all the vibrance and energy that makes TULI, TULI.
